Book Review: Darker Still by Leanna Renee Hieber

     Synopsis

I was obsessed. It was as if he called to me, demanding I reach out and touch the brushstrokes of color swirled onto the canvas. It was the most exquisite portrait I'd ever seen--everything about Lord Denbury was unbelievable...utterly breathtaking and eerily lifelike. There was a reason for that. Because despite what everyone said, Denbury never had committed suicide. He was alive. Trapped within his golden frame.

I've crossed over into his world within the painting, and I've seen what dreams haunt him. They haunt me too. He and I are inextricably linked--bound together to watch the darkness seeping through the gas-lit cobblestone streets of Manhattan. Unless I can free him soon, things will only get Darker Still.

Top Ten Bookish People I'd like to meet.

Okay I thought of so many people for this... That includes dead people. Hmm. Well, here's what I got after a long while of deliberation.

 1. John Maxwell. Maybe then, he'll be able to shake the leader in me... if that leader even exists. But I love his books and I' just so sorry that when his group came near my area, I chose to go to my classes instead. TSKTSKTSK. But one day! One day!

2. John Green. Yes, the top two's dominated by Johns. Anyway, I'm kind of hoping that when and if I do meet him, his wit will rub off on me. Hopefully. But I love him and I think when I meet him I'm gonna tell him that I'm marrying Augustus (and I thought it  would be appropriate to ask for his blessing MUAHAHA)

3. Heather Dixon. I loved her book Entwined and her blog (so much that I even follow it) Anyway, her blog's ridiculous and full of teatime, balls and gentlemen. I really would love to meet her!

Okay, I'm cheating. I'm going to update this this week because I'm a nutcase and I must continue to deliberate in who's making the list. MUAHAHA

     Synopsis

Azalea is trapped. Just when she should feel that everything is before her . . . beautiful gowns, dashing suitors, balls filled with dancing . . . it's taken away. All of it. The Keeper understands. He's trapped, too, held for centuries within the walls of the palace. And so he extends an invitation. Every night, Azalea and her eleven sisters may step through the enchanted passage in their room to dance in his silver forest.

But there is a cost. The Keeper likes to "keep" things. Azalea may not realize how tangled she is in his web until it is too late.

There's a problem...

No, aside from Google not being able to open my domain http://www.ohpenda.com/, I have been editing, re-editing, reading, re-editing my reviews and it took me 3 hours to figure out what's the problem. The default ink is GRAY.

I'm not usually a sensing type of person, I'm actually almost intuitive all of the time. I have been typing for an hour and sense something's wrong but have no idea what it is. After another hour, I get frustrated because it's boring and I just can't get myself to read what I wrote (that's everytime I hit preview). Then I finally realize what the real problem is.

So there you go, epic story.

Meanwhile, I've been struggling because something's wrong with google. Huhuhu. And I just recently bought a domain! But I can't use it because google's being weird! Their message goes:
Maintenance in progress - Domain switching disabled

Anyway, I have been waiting on Brett from Blogger for any information on this, but it seems this might take a while. sigh.

Especially when he is your French tutor, and lessons have started becoming, well, certainly more interesting than French ever has been before. The Book Keeper
